Job Description: Math Tutor


Fay School, the oldest junior boarding school in the United States, is looking for a full-time Upper School math tutor for the 2006-2007 academic year. The job responsibilities include:

Provide academic support to students (grades six through nine) in Fay School’s Learning Services Program.
Prepare lessons based on students’ individual learning style, coursework, and curriculum. Syllabi and homework assignments are available on the school’s server.
Track individual students’ progress.
Communicate, as appropriate, with teaching faculty and parents.
Generate effort grades (every two weeks) and write comments (three times per year).
Check online calendars for special events, programs, and holidays.

Additional responsibilities in residential life and athletics may also be available.
